If you wipe your machine and re-install the same O/S and then put V-Planner back on your existing license key should be fine.

Change O/S, motherboard etc and then re-install the app and I would expect it to require a new key so email Ross H.

I bet some of you people complaining about ripping off the licences for VPlanner have got "ahem" copies of Microsoft Windows on your PC's at home, and Office etc etc

I'm not saying its right, just pointing out the obvious alternative view

Not me, my XP is genuine!

However with one's tongue firmly in one's cheek, you could argue that paying M$oft for licences is only encouraging them to write OS's with larger and larger footprints.

I have just begun playing with Knoppix.

@String. Ross is pretty good about that type of thing if you are genuine, which I've no doubt that you are.

Exactly my point. The standpoint should be the same for both, one way or the other. Just because one has more money than the other doesn't make it morally any better...

Just tried again and the "install key" the program decides on is different from the one it created last time (same OS, no hardware changes just a clean windows install on that same machine).

Will email rossH when i get home before i risk losing my last key.
