| If using IE, click on tools, internet options, security and then sites. I need to check about password protection to stop your blocked sites from being unblocked without your knowledge (if required?) Also your anti virus type/firewall package may have similar options. If you don't mind my being nosey, is it worth it. Kid these days 'know it all' and yours seems to be quite responsible.

The IE option for this is on the same page where you enter specific banned sites. Have a look at - free sofware to block pornographic websites - Google Search=

| Another option is to edit the hosts file. Do Start, Run, then type: notepad C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts and hit Enter. You'll probably see a file which looks like this: Quote:
Add a new line, for example: 127.0.0.1 www.siteyouwanttoblock.com and save the file. Your PC will not now be able to connect to any page at the siteyouwanttoblock domain.

| I use the hosts file to block a lot of adverts but it's pretty useless at blocking content as for every site you know about anybody else can find 10000 more like it in two minutes. Admittedly blocking YD in the office would save a lot of my time... |
