Doesn't this drive get a bit huffy when you try and save non drm type files, not sure if I read this somewhere.

Even so, nice bit of kit.

Nothing to do with the drive - just a normal USB drive as far as the computer is concerned.

Not got the 1TB one, but got a couple of 500GB versions and they really are very nice - if nothing else just because they sit quietly under the TV connected to my router and only turn themselves on when I try to access them. Much better than the previous one which looked odd under the TV, and had to manually turn it off otherwise it would never stop spinning!

How are you connecting them to your router? I have a 1TB Buffalo TeraStation (configured as 750GB with parity) which has an ethernet connection but it is getting rather full
