Question Excel formula Writing help
Ok thanks to Mark Chase in my previous thread I think I am nearly there
But I need help with a formula I need something to work the following :-

If F5 = 0 then H5 = F5 "OR" If F5 = 1 then H5 = F5/1.175 "OR" If F5 = 2 then H5 = F5/1.05 "OR" If F5 = 4 then H5 = F5/407*7

Can somebody please help

So let me get this straight... You want the value in H5 to perform a different calculation based on what the value in F5 is?

so... in cell H5 put

=IF(F5=0,F5,IF(F5=1,F5/1.175,IF(F5=2,F5/1.05,IF(F5=4,F5/407*7,"NOT VALID VALUE"))))

Should do the trick

Put the following in H5

=IF(F5 = 0,F5,IF(F5 = 1, F5/1.175,IF(F5 = 2,F5/1.05,IF(F5 = 4,F5/407*7,))))

The last comma will return 0 for all other values of f5 not in your definition. If I have understood it correctly.

Or just use a lookup table
