| Don't know if this helps or not but..... On the Archos devices my sons have you 'compress' the dvd on your laptop so that the format will fit the screen (320x320 or similar). Then you copy the file to the Archos harddisk. I think my son has over 30 full length videos and 300 tunes on his 40gb Archos. The battery lasts about 9 hours so you can watch a couple of videos and play some tunes and still have power left. Makes Gulf Air flights go a little easier!

| I think you will have to turn DVD into avi, or something ZEN can read. You will need to download software or may even get it with zen not sure. Handbrake is free. Its peasy, then transfer onto ZEN. My lad was looking at Zen vision but thought it was a bit bulky for everyday use, mainly music . He went for ipod classic. Nice unit just waiting to see how long it lasts. Supposedly they pack in after a year. |

| I used to have a Zen and did like it but you do need to convert the dvd into an .avi file. I used Super to do my conversions.

You can't do both. The aircraft limits are only there in case there is another flight by that particular aircraft. If subsequent flights do not appear likely, there are no limits. |
