Q for the YD IT collective brain

I have a PC problem that is driving us nuts.

left to its own devices the machine will run constantly slowly building a file(s) that eventually use up all available disk space forcing a restart.

I think a possible culprit maybe BThelpnotifier - stopping this process reduces activity.

Any ideas folks short of an axe? I can see no settings to change and eliminating the process from task manager each time is not ideal

XP SP2, IE 7, latest version BT Hub software.

TIA

Richard

the filename and location would be useful, also a screenshot of all runnning processes sorted by memory. Also tell us where bthelpnotifier is located, as some malware programs disguise themselves as that.

Thanks G
I have looked for the file it is creating but a standard search doesn't show up anything.
I'll do a screenshot and track down bthelpnotifier later when I get home.
Cheers
