Bluetooth on TomTom One V2

Dear All,

Just a quick question to all those techies out there. I am trying to connect my Nokia 6300 to my TomTom One V2. But it doesn't recognise my phone, where abouts can the software be downloaded thus enabling connection as I have had a quick scan through the TomTom website with no avail. Secondly can I use the TomTom to as a reciever/loudspeaker thus driving handsfree???

Many thanks in advance.

Regards

StevieH

Don't think there is any need for any software. Is your phone visable in the bluetooth settings or hidden?

Mine worked with the E65 and whatever Nokia I had last time along with my Sony W850i.

You can't use the TomTom One V2 as a carphone kit though. It will not work as a speakerphone, nor will it do text messages or bring up your address book. The bluetooth connection is only to allow the TomTom to dial up to get traffic updates and Weather along with other paid for services from TomTom. For those things you need a more expensive model.

I have just spoken to TomTom Technical and they stated that my phone is not compatible and that the TomTom One has not got handsfree.

Many thanks.
