Advice req PC Vs MAC (laymans terms)
The time is soon here for me to change my laptop and before I just follow the crowd and get a Windows based PC, which are incredibly cheap now, I thought I would take the blinkers off and consider my options. I am not an IT guru by any standards but am able to get by on the basic PC operations, and use it mainly for Internet, music library, photo's, and personal finance records (the usual stuff). I would be interested in peoples take on the pros and cons of either, but as the title says, could it be in layman's terms. Thanks

i use mac and will never go back to pc

photos music and internet use its perfect...

never crashes, boots in 16 seconds flat..

go into a apple store and use one...

I love mine - more expensive but I wouldn't go back. They just make things easy (and pretty! :-) ).

MACs are lovely to use. I hate it when I have to go back to PCs. I would like to replace all of my home machines with MACs but I can't justify the expense.

think: "every time I touch the PC, my hands feel dirty. and not in a good way."

l've had a mac for about 3 years now and it's been great.

l've now loaded leopard and it doesn't seem to work quiet as well.e.g it stutters when l try to watch the u-tube links people post here whereas the shittop l also have plays them ok.

Any ideas?

I bought an Imac recently and tbh I wish I had made the move earlier I have a top of the range home built windows PC sat here sharing the same desk but the only thing I use that for now is online gaming.
