Win TV

I bought a USB freeview TV receiver yesterday with a small portable aerial. So far it has resisted all attempts to work and scan channels into the computer. Does it need a large aerial to work correctly or is the small aerial up to the job.

It's a Hauppague Nova T if that helps. At £29 it looks like I have have to buy another aerial for this to produce a decent signal.

Does anybody have experience of these units and do they work?

Thanks

Ian

yes - to be honest.

I have the freecom version of the same - and the little aerial with it is approaching ok (you might get signal if you are in a strong signal area and point it in that direction) - but its just not really man enough for the job..

I have mine connected off the main aerial.

edit: - try it with an indoor aerial if you have one. and use a booster.

make sure you boost it before plugging it in.
