WANTED: iPod. 20Gb+

Not bothered about the latest models- just one that will hold my banging choons. Even a really old one would do, as long as the battery isn't toast.

Anyone upgraded to the latest one and have an older one lying around?

I might even swap you for some dive kit, if you want some. 5W Tektite Expedition LS4 anyone?

Ive done exactly that!!!

So I have surplus to requirements a 60gb Black Video Ipod 5th Gen.
Its loaded with movies and music with 20GB to spare, you can keep them or delete.
Its a bit marked, 1 dent in the metal back but works like new.
Intrested... Make me an offer

How about a nice new shiny 5W LED torch? It's very lovely. And new. And shiny. Well actually it's Death Star black and will make you look harder than Steven Segal.

buy a broke one anda new battery its about a tenner extra life, cheap and chearful and you can feel good that youve recyled and saved all those nasty carbon emissions, i did just that on a bust mini its not 20 gig but i mangaged to get it twleve, the ipod was only a couple of quid posted tenner for battery and a cheap compact drive off flea bay, bargain.....

Ok ok I'm tempted. How do I do this? Can you cange the batt? I thought they weren't user replaceable?

just have a look for the model you would like on ebay and google battery replacement, you can pick em up for a few quid if you are lucky, then just buy the battery to suit, its not that hard and the battery i bought contained instructions on how do it if you are after a 20 gig plus then see whats going cheap, it isnt as hard as i thought to do, you just need to pop the case in a certain way and it come with the little tools to do it in the one i bought, nd generally the aftermarket batteries contain more capacity take a bit longer charge but last longer, ive just ahd a flcik through nothing on at the min but i would or can keep a look out reckon you could sort it for 30-40 quid inc pod depends how desperate you are for it i supose

edit- theres a white one with 7 hours go thats got no bids no reserve if you had to replace the hard drive and bat you are looking at about 20-30 quid and then just reformat it through itunes

edit again lookin at it theres some old 5th gen going cheap if you can be arsed sniping and it saves arsing about changing batts and stuff and probably would be easier and cheaper!
