Nazi iTunes. Sieg heil!
So. I have a nice 60Gb hip odd courtesy of a YDer (thank you very much although I have deleted alot of Metal genre music).

Apart from needing to install a mac disc reader thingy (rather than reformatting to FAT32) it's all rather nice. iTunes is a bit of a Nazi though telling me that cos I was synching to a different PC then it wanted to reformat everything and invade Poland.

Luckily Real Player (although I hate Real with all my soul) seems to do it without sulking and even has a go at converting rm and wma files to a format the iPod can play and doesn't even want to take over Austria. Clever little bugger.

Why am I telling you this? I have no idea. Winding down for me hol next week, everything's done and I'm about ready.

there is an alternative to itunes which does allow you full control over the content and (more importantly) allows you to copy stuff back off the ipod too.

someone named it on the forums recently.. (last week or two)
