Microsoft outlook email
i keep getting an error message and my isp tell me that its my problem

teh error message is 0x800ccc0f

does any body know how to resolve this problem

my send & recieve now tells me that i have 38 emails sending but nothing in my out box

Shout at your ISP - you are getting the run-around.

How to troubleshoot error messages that you receive when try to send and receive e-mail in Outlook and in Outlook Express

Issue is at their end or on the broadband line.

i had a similar message, but i can't remember what it was. Turned out that i had read receipts in the out box that were blocking everything else. i don't send receipts any more. it okk a week to figure that one out!

The error means that Outlook cannot connect to your email server.

If this is your ISP then I would check their homepage / support for any errors listed.

If it's work then it's time for the IT boys to do overtime.

I'm assuming that you have a network connection as you are posting on here !

There is a little program you can download from the MS Exchange server site this allows you to delete the outgoing mails that are blocking like scubee said it going to be a read recipt.

Reboot (switch off and back on) your router/modem.

Even though you have internet access, it may be hardware related; I've been caught out with this one before.

Google the Err Msg
Always try googling ur error msg.. never fails... well almost.. depends on how obscure it is... but if you have it.. there is usally someone else somewhere in the world with same prob.. makes contributing on-line all the more worthwhile!

Unless the email server is an intracompany one, or even Microsoft itself, then Exchange is probably not an issue?
