| Bryan, have a google for Netmeter, a small bit of software that does just what you want. What you need is the older version though, the new version is time limited. I think I have a copy saved somewhere, if it is not too big I'll email it to your hotmail address. Aha, a quick Google later and I found it here Gareth

Does this utility keep a cumulative total? Also, I can't seem to open the program beyond seeing a 'real time meter'? I'm specically looking for something that keeps a cumulative total of data downloaded so that ewhen the ISP says "we are charging you extra this month" I have some way of checking their info. Bryan

| Bryan, It keeps running totals per day, week, month and year. I don't have it running on this machine but I think that if you right click on the icon in the system tray you will see what you need in the pop-up menu. Gareth

| web usage tracker Oooo now that is what I need. I am using the Vodafone 3g wifi router, and they only have the tracking software available for PCs and I am on a mac, which means that I have no way of telling how much internet usage I have been doing (other than time spent on the lappie of course). If you know of a mac version of either their 3g software (I am in Egypt so it might be available elsewhere) or something that would keep track of our upload/download useage, that would be great! |
