Pay as You Go - Tracking Outbound Calls

The things that lead to this are complicated, needless to say I am looking out for someone's best interests to get some evidence from someone who is being a complete sh1t to someone I care about deeply.

I will start with by saying I have no experience of using PAYG mobiles so not sure what is and what isn't possible.

Person A has been cheating on Person B for sometime now and has been caught on at least one occasion. However, Person B isn't very confident and wants to ditch Person A but wants to have inconclusive evidence to present to Person A.

Person A wasn't that bright and left phonebills around showing lots of phonecalls to Person C. Person B found these, confronted A who said that he wouldn't do it again. A then bought a PAYG mobile from O2. B suspected stuff was going on and threw this mobile in the toilet. More protestations and denials from A.

B has found a new O2 PAYG sim in a trouser pocket, B thought she was being bright and bought a new O2 PAYG sim, replaced it and thought that she could find out what calls have been made.

I explained that if you change a SIM, you change the number so A might be really p1ssed off when they find out that when C is trying to phone A, the calls are diverted to the voicemail.

Is there any way of finding out what outbound calls have been made from the original PAYG sim which B now has? Is there anything that can be done to track outbound calls from the original PAYG sim before it is replaced back in A?

Needless to say I have spoken on many occasions to B about this and saying that she needs to kick A out but she is afraid of being left alone. She knows what decision she has to make but wants to say to A that I have warned you plenty of times, and this is the evidence that I have.

Anyone provide any help?

Son, you're going to have to make up your mind about growing up and becoming aircrew. You can't do both.

The aircraft limits are only there in case there is another flight by that particular aircraft. If subsequent flights do not appear likely, there are no limits.

Help...
No other than to suggest that getting involved will only end up with you somehow ending up at fault and your friendships not quite being the same in the future.

Hope you find a solution though

regards

I believe the phone call log is stored on the phone . . . although I stand to be corrected . . . but I'm sitting at the moment

YIKES that got complex!!

But as far as i am aware you dont have a "paper" record of the calls made from a Pay as you go phone.. the only recond will be on the phones memory depending on the phone not on the sim IIRC form when i had a pay as you go!

the only thing i remember being able to save on a sim was the phone numbers. so i am sorry to say the most you may get will be person A contact list. (not really much help)

I hope it all get sort out and your friend soon sees that she has the guts the stand on her own.. and that you will be their to provide support and a wet shoulder!!

With my t-mobile PAYG sim i can view my calls etc online. I did have to register for the "my t-mobile" so it probably wont show any info about calls made before i registered

no idea if O2 have the same function for PAYg sims

Unfortunately this is a family thing and so friendships don't really come to play.

Thanks for the information and it is as I suppose, the information is on the handset not on the SIM. If you take the SIM out of the handset, I presume the call register resets or is the call log still valid as this might provide a solution.

I agree that A needs a good kick up the proverbial to get rid of him

Regards

Sorry I think B needs a good talking to as well. B has had proof and a confession from A that they had been playing away and from what you say there seems strong evidence that A is at it again. So why does B require further proof? What further proof does B need? To catch A banging the arse of C? Would that satisfy B? And the fear of being alone is not a good enough reason for staying with someone they obviously no longer have trust in.

Please do not 'help' by playing private detective, it is something A & B need to sort between themselves.

I just took the SIM out of a PAYG here and the outbound call register is still there.

Motorola on Orange.

I still prefer Garfs solution overall though
