| if the music is also on an ipod you can quite easily copy from ipod to computer. select show hidden files in folder options then have a poke about in the ipod through my computer. i have heard that this can result in data being lost from the ipod but ive done it plenty of times and had no issues you can also use an external hard drive and copy them back and forth. you then go to file > add folder > select the folder all the music is in and the rest is done for you. unfortunately any duplicates will have to be removed individually. emake sure that you turn 'auto-update' off on the ipods if using them |

| I can't remember which thread it was, but PeeBee, i think it was, posted a link to something called Sharepod which, afiui, would allow an ipod to act as a mass storage device. I will try to find the link, but it was a couple of months ago.

| I seem to remember there is a way to get an iPod to sync with two libraries. When you sync it and it suggests it needs to delete everything, say no. And then it allows you to sync with both, I'm sure.

| Just use this: iPod To Computer Transfer -- Copy from iPod to computer It's basically itunes but without any limits on copying things on and off the ipod. Lots safer than messing about with hidden files and much easier to find everything you're looking for. And free! |
