Audio book CD onto iPod

I've Googled this and had a go but the results were distinctly average.

Anyone got some good hints how to get a multi-CD sudio book onto an iPod with half decent quality and the "joined together" thingy working?

When you find an answer let me know, I have the same problem. The problem is if you convert it to IPOD you run the risk of getting a chapter during the music shuffle.

Have worked out how to set that- in the properties you set it to skip when shuffling. It's getting it into one cohesive browsable decent quality lump that's the pain.

I just created a playlist of said book that way start to finish in one playlist not sure if that's what your asking it's monday and my head hurts

Aahhh....... The weather has turned and diving canned with 4 days left on the island. It's 16ºc and everyone is complainning about the cold. Might go out and do some tourism and get out of this warm comfy bed.
