    Strange iPod behaviour...

    Guy's,

Wonder if anyone can shed any light on this probelm.

I've got an iPod photo 30gb - had it for about 4 years and had no trouble with it.

Anyway over the last couple of weeks when ever I've imported a cd into iTunes and updated my ipod it won't play the last 20-30 seconds of the new tracks?

Now if I restore my ipod and re-sync all is well and everything plays - but this obviously takes quite a while to do.

The tracks play fine in itunes once imported it's only when I dump them to the 'pod?

I've got the latest version of software for my pod and am about 1 version behind on itunes.

    Thanks

    Chris

haven't had this myself and can't find anything obvious on the ipod support forums

sounds like it may be a corruption problem on the ipod and your best bet may be to restore factory defaults and re-sync your itunes library with the pod.

if this is what you've already done and it then generates the same problem for future tracks then try upgrading to the latest iTunes.
