Question Closed or Open?

Can anybody tell me if I should have the valves open,
closed or part closed on my Independent twins :-)

Either both open OR, if you can reach the cylinder valves easily, you could have one closed down (with the hoses pressured) as is usually done with a deco bottle. You need to be able to open/close the valves without thinking as you should be breathing each cylinder down by 50 bar (for example) to ensure you have half your gas left if anything goes wrong.

Not sure where "part open" comes into the equation - unless you are thinking about an isolator valve on a manifold.

Is that a bit like having a red Jag or TVR etc. those with knobs are compensating for something else!!!!
