Imported post Sorted.. Hold on. Do I need to do ought to my tank?? (Edited by Ben at 12:44 pm on Nov. 20, 2002)

Imported post Have you got a allen-keyable insert in your tank valve. I'm pretty sure you have from what I rememeber. If so, then no.

Imported post Hopefully, will check tonight.

Imported post Ben, Your A-clamp section (inside the O-ring) should have a removeable 'slug' that you can, as Gav rightly says, remove with a simple Allen Key. Remove this and then insert and screw in a DIN adaptor. I've got three Faber 12l A-clamp tanks, and this is precisely what I did. Hope that helps,

Imported post Do you need to remove the A clamp adapter and then add a DIN adapter to the tank or is there one normally there when you remove the a clamp adapter. Basically are tanks naturally both Din and A clamp depending on the screwy bit??
| ||||
Imported post Ben, Once you remove the A-clamp adaptor (most UK tanks are naturally DIN enabled with an A-clamp 'slug' screwed in to it), you are presented with the thread into which you screw the DIN adaptor. Should be straight forward mate. Have a swatch tonight when you get home and let us know. Cheers,
