Thumbs up Imported post

And just come across this puppy too:

http://www.scubabase.be/

Seems to have plenty of customiseable s/w for the use of.

And then of course there's the Gas Absorption Programme (GAP):

http://www.gap-software.com/

Again, as with all these diving gas s/w packages, please make sure that you read up on them fully and ask questions of both the manufaturer AND others that you trust to be able to give an honest and balanced opinion on there use BEFORE you go wading in with it.

Any one here used GAP? Comments? Opinions - good or bad?

Take care.

Unhappy Imported post

Has any body had any luck with down loading all this free stuff?
In the past I have tried with limited sucess, mainly the free dive planner software to compare before buying.
Maybe I need to change the valve in my Redifusion computer.
Anyone tried decoweenie for the palm series yet?

As far as free stuff goes, I use JPlan on the palm, and DDPlan on the PC -- they seem to work.  I haven't tried decoweenie I'm afraid.

I've had a play around with GAP - it gives pretty much the same results as DecoWeenie (What with using the same algorithm and all )
