As has been said before on this thread - it's not the course it's the instructor that matters.

I did my Adv Nitrox with Andy Hayhurst along with many others from these parts and learned more in two days generally than I had since starting. Not about Nitrox particularly but kit arrangement, trim, anti-panic techniques, DSMB deployment etc.

Find a decent instructor and you can't go wrong IMHO.

Hi Dave sorry for the late reply, forgot Id even posted on here,
p.s. I'd love to know what that whole path cost you, if that's not too rude a question although I expect it is... :}
not rude at all mate , it cost me &#361500 for the lot and about &#36250 of that was for helium which is expensive out there, about the only thing that is( beer 35p  fags under £3 for 200 and the women, best stop there) the flight was £360 for a month rtn with qatar airways. It took 2 weeks for the course`s so I had 2 weeks to play with.
I wanted to do these course`s anyway apart from the wreck, I got talked in to that one, but must say Im glad I did it. So I got a free holiday, if you look at the prices over here
I love it out there been 4 times now and have a serious case of the blues at the moment, thats why Im on this fcukin keyboard so much. sorry if Ive gone over kill there, but I really miss the place:cry:

Kin ell mate that seems incredibly cheap.. I was sure you were a drug baron or secret arms dealer to be affording such luxury's but in reality it was all quite affordable.

Well done mate.... oh to be free and single again.. whoops I hope our lass isn't reading this..

<font color='#000F22'>Self-explanitory really ...

What to do if shit hits fan. Try and visualise potential problems in advance, find technique to correct, practise technique.

If you are suitably prepared then you &quot;shouldn't&quot; panic.

Also methods of slowing breathing down etc.
