Lightbulb Introduction to Technical Diving

During the winter months I will be running a series of talks on Technical Diving.

These are intended for divers looking to move to technical diving and wanting to know a bit more about what is involved. Each talk will cover the following;
- What is technical diving?
- Why do it?
- Things to consider
- Nitrox
- Decompression
- Trimix
- Equipment
- The agencies

If your club would like me to come along on your club night to give a talk on this subject then let me know.

Mark,

My club would like to host you for an evening at our club for your presentation. We are not too far away from you at Odiham, we meet Tues nights but can accommodate you any weeknight. If you could let me know your availability I will organise a date, we have a large presentation hall with IT etc (and a bar). I can treat you to dinner beforehand if that helps with the logistics and timings.

Normally within a couple of hours of Guildford so that I can get back without having to worry about overnight accomodation.

Unless of course I have some other committments oop north which I can combine.

I'm going to be at the Stoney Gig at the end of Feb and then in the Dales second week in March so maybe we could work something out for then.

If you are up at Stoney in Feb, how do you fancy popping up to Nottingham and blathering on to Nottm Uni club? We could mix it with the YD gig as we did a couple of years ago and make it quite a social thing.

We can organise a cracking lecture theatre with all the presentation stuff you would want then off to the pub for tea and medals.

Admittedly technical diving might be a bit whooosh over the head for alot of the newer Ocean Divers but then again Geraint Ffoulks Jones learned to dive with us and he did a cracking talk about the Brittannic expedition. And I carried his twin bloody 20's down to the car park. Never again.
