Where to start???
I am based in Haywards Heath and am interested in Technical Diving. I would like to start with a twin set course and then a deco diving and advanced nitrox. I dived the Zenobia the other week and my dive guide had a twin set and was chatting to me about basic Tec Diving which got me thinking. I am AOW Nitrox at the moment but wanting something a little more challenging and am definately buying a wing and twinset etc. Anyone know anyone in the Brighton/Seaford area????

Nigel H lives in/near Brighton!

I'm in Bexhill. There are quite a few of us over Hastings way which is a bit of a schlep for joining the club but when you are up and running I mostly use Inspiration (RIB) out of Eastbourne.

irrespective of which course, here's some help on how to choose an instructor

What is the best Deco course

Personally I don't think you can go far wrong with Phil Short...

I've done a few courses with Phil now and he's definately one of the most thorough, knowledgeable and able instructors I've ever had the pleasure to train under - he's also a good laugh which, in my book, is important as it makes the learning experience a little bit more bearable.

Whoever you choose, I would offer you this one bit of advice - ask your chosen tech instructor what sort of diving projects they've been involved in outside of their training activities. If they struggle to give you an answer, look elsewhere...
