Because I have loads of those clips with the loop of material attached I don't use snoopy loops because I can move everything on the clips up to the highest D ring when out of the water.

I do have 2 car inner tube rings on each cylinder. I am thinking of using a couple of bike tyre loops on my left forearm to hold a net cutter and lock knife in place - the lanyards can be already on my wrists ................. well, it might work.

Everything! I have even heard of them being used as expedition bottle bands on 15s and 20s (though not played myself ..... Duncan???). Just don't try walking round with them out of the water!

Other uses include holding HP hoses to bottles, fixing the HP gauge near the tap, holding gear on your arms (everything goes on my arms rather than legs; don't have a suit with any pockets), line belays (which can be very useful even when following a line)......

As many as I can be bothered to make up. 1001 uses in both caving and diving scenarios.

[EDIT]Well, the below sentence makes a lot of sense ........ NOT!

Is it true cavers use them as a substitute in the absence of viagra?

Perhaps I meant:-

Is it true cavers use them as a substitute for viagra?

or perhaps:-

Is it true cavers use them in the absence of viagra?

snoopys gone loopy!!

I carry a few in my pockets and use them for everything from connecting stuff together, anchoring lines, marking lines, tagging and i also have about ten spares on each cylinder.

they are as usefull as the diver is improvistic.

What you do in the privacy of your own home is completely up to you Woz. Just bear in mind the phrase "too much information....." And be careful not to cut off the blood supply....... it will turn black and fall off!

Of course the other essential use is flicking them at other people (rubber band stylee) to alleviate bordom while waiting for a diver to return.
