Yep, don't fill them too high. They're ally tanks. If they fail they split, not bend. I have the shiny ones from Phil, and for what it's worth I'd suggest a can of lacquer over them before they go in the sea. Personally it is a lot easier to have tanks with no paint to start with than get painted ones and have half of it come off. They do lose their shine quickly unless you wash them off, dry them, and lick them shiny again after diving. But then nothing is perfect. Personally, I wouldn't bother buying tanks at the dive show. You've got to carry them ga-bloody-miles back to the car, when you could get dive show prices and walk 6 foot to your car from a shop. Plus you won't have to fight your way over a thousand other bargain hunters to get them. If you're buying new tanks and need stickers for O2 clean give me a shout. I have everything you need and for the extra tenner you could be spending I can provide enough stickers for several tanks... Digs.

Graham, PM your address. I can run off the MOD etc this weekend, the VIP I have sat here. Should have left them with Gary but I'm a useless useless person, and Gary distracted me with a house full of dive gear. Honestly, when he opened the door I nearly got hit by a wall of twinsets and VR3s...

Thanks for that Digger, does Phill open on Sundays? Might just get them delivered, then I don't even need to carry them 6 feet, well not until I dive anyway.
| ||||
I'm sure if you got in touch you could drop in on the Sunday, Phil is in the business of making money after all... Not sure if he's at the show anyway? You know where he is, give him a shout. Digs.
