Don't forget you will have a good resale value on the booster pump when you decide you don't need it anymore.

Just because you have smaller cylinders on a CCR doesn't mean you don't need a booster pump.
Fully agree my Jetsam Baby Booster cost me £600 including all hoses & gauge secondhand .With the booster I sent 2 cylinders back with 5 bar left in them & was still boosting to 200 bar of O2 for the rebreather .I'm lucky I have the club compressor at my place but if you have to buy your air fill to drive the booster then yes it's expensive .as said though the price of secondhand boosters does not seem to drop .

I baught a gass booster and about £1000 is a good idea of set up costs but in truth you need so much drive gas you had better factor in an electronic drive compresor as well so say £1300

I wouldent use it for filling twin sets Id just blend the He and 02 and get air tops at the LDS.

Once your through the financial pain barrear its fantastic for CCR diveing. It will probably take several years to pay for its self but the convenience is worth it.

I have been told that Diving Grade Helium can be bought off Messer UK for around £58 and O2 at around £13, I am awaiting their return call.

So i can fill my drive bottles no problem (apart from the fact the engin has conked out at the moment) but if you look on the Mark Ellyat site he recommends a small electronic paint compressor to go with his booster
