If I do a dive on 21/25 to 50M what is my END ? I make it 31M ? O2 not narcotic

I think O2 is narcotic, so 21/25 at 45m would have an END of 31m.

So I take it you're treating O2 as approximately 0.85 x as narcotic as nitrogen, right? I've seen various studies that have claimed that O2 is 0.3 x as narcotic, is equally as narcotic (ie 1.0x) and even - in one report - *twice* as narcotic!

O2 is 0.3x narcotic = 24.3m
O2 is 1.0x narcotic = 32.7m
O2 is twice as narcotic = 44.7m!!!!

31m is correct if you don't regard O2 as narcotic:

((Absolute Pressure * FN2/.79) - 1) * 10 = 31m

if you regard O2 as narcotic:

((Absolute Pressure * (1 - FHe)) - 1) * 10 = 35m

END = [(FN2) (D+10)/0.79] – 10
If you consider that the O2 is not narcotic you can use that one.
So it will be 31.01 M

END = [(1 – fraction of He) X (D + 10)] – 10

If you consider that the O2 is narcotic you can use that one.
So it will be 35 M

And for sure is more constrictive to use that one
