| I don't know but have read "the last dive", every1 in the book seems to lose the stages they take off, but then its a bad book full of muppets

In answer to your question: No f'in way. And that's my bailout tanks - not deco gases. What happens if you have a problem and have to ascend directly? But each to their own I guess. Janos

| of course you take your stages off, that's what they are for. I'd never take a deco bottle off though, that'd be just silly /runsaway |

| I have always carried my stage around with me as its a bail out for me and my buddy. cheers Mark Ps Ivon are diving Sat? we are prob going to Dorathea.

| My stages carry my travel gas and deco gas, If i need the gas in the 1st place then I'll carry it, if i dont fit in a hole with the stages/deco bottle on than I wont go in in the first place. G. |

| although still in the early days of twin set and stage use i do pracice removing them and putting them down but i would say otherwise i would leave it in place as i too look at it as a bailout cylinder !!! ![]() |
