| If I was Garf I'd be a bit miffed....he did a dive on air and everyone said "Tut Tut, you should've used Trimix" He now wants Trimix and he's getting "Why not use air (albeit 32%)" You just can't win can you!! Mal |

Glad to hear Garf's sorted now, though, and - of course - good luck to the three of you! The rumours I've heard that Andy intends his last Tech-1 to be a course that people will talk nervously about for years to come are not to be believed, I'm sure... Quote:
That said, I've dived at Vobster at times where the viz has been phenominal - I'm talking 20m+ here! Admittedly you don't get conditions like that very often but most of the time, viz can be good during the week. As I've always said, the best day to visit Vobster is on a Thursday - it's reasonably quiet and the lake has had a couple of days to settle (providing it hasn't pissed down the night before, of course).

| LOL called divenazi, sorry dive central, in milton keynes, and they said "oh just get your instructor to drop them an email" Called today to make sure its ok that I bring in my tanks "your instructor will need to come in and show his card" After a long discussion, I managed to get this out of them "get your insturctor to write a letter with details of the gas and its purpose, and photocopy both sides of their trimix certification, and then post it all to us" and that SHOULD be ok. pitiful customer service. just pitiful. And I'm back to square one with needing a mix fill in the milton keynes area! |
