| Why bother with the Extended Range? Just do nitrox and deco courses, then move straight in to trimix.

| What he said - even TDI are now moving away from extended range (I think it might be being dropped as a course). I did mine inland in January with Mark Powell. If you're looking for some sun and a cert then try Camel in Sharm (they have a resident TDI instructor), but if you're looking for a solid dive education then call Mark and really get your money's worth. The difference between doing the course as defined by TDI and doing the course with Mark is like comparing a try dive with Divemaster Intern... |

| I can really recommend Red Sea Technical in Egypt. This is Harry Heyward in Dahab and Leigh Cunningham in Sharm. I did a few courses with Harry earlier this year and am hopefully going to do Adv Trimix with him in February. He was a great instructor who really knows his stuff and makes you work very hard for your qualification. See my sig line for the website. |

| I am a TDI Instructor and Facility in Tenerife. I have all the equipment and gases etc for technical diving. Not to mention the fab weather and warm water. We are also the first centre in Tenerife to take delivery of an Inspiration CCR. We had Steve Philips (head of TDI UK and Ireland) over last week, who thought our centre was just the ticket for future TDI courses. Check out the web site Dive 24:7 Tenerife dive centre offering courses, (TDI & PADI), diving and equipment in the Canary Islands, Spain. - Diving Tenerife style.
