Valve handle horizontally away from my body. Seems to work OK.

Why is a metal to metal connection bad?? It works for me at the minute, but as I said this is for a 3Ltr of EAN50 not for a 10 or 7 of trimix or similar.

Possibly due to dissimiliar metal corosion between the cylinder and jubilee clips.
