| Depending on the operating system of the phone. Windoze phones can use V-Planner, Palm ones can use J-Plan and there's even a Symbian one at DivePlan - Decompression software for SymbianOS. Try google - it's your friend

| I use V PLanner on my Palm smartphone - it has windows mobile software, so V Planner uses that. It's very handy on the boat or for looking at changes of plan if the dive changes en route. However, If the phone doesn't run on windows mobiles then you'll need to go shopping! look at V-Planner VPM & VPM-B dive decompression software for compatability etc. |

| Pretty much any phone should run the java programs - which I assume is JDeco, no idea about any others. However, if you've got a smartphone / PDA-phone that runs Windows Mobile then a better choice may be V-Planner, though it is more expensive than most others it is much better software than the others i've tried. All that said, most important consideration is what deco algorithm you want to use. Depending on how you're going to plan and run your dives may affect your choice. If you use a certain dive computer for example and want to be able to plan using software with similar algorithms, then your options are naturally limited. David |

As regards the other symbian software, I've not downloaded it so I juts need to find out how to get it on the phone and working. Thanks again... | For anyone thinking of trying JDeco on their phone, go to this page on their website: JDeco - Dive Decompression Software for JAVA Mobile Phones and do the Google thing they explain with the name and model of your phone. That way you will find out if your phone will take it OK.
