| from the top..... PADI Require you to have some credibility to recieve teaching status for this course, in the shape of Advanced Nitrox, TriMix, DSAT etc, though you can also do a similar twinset course to get the experience. Obviously 25 dives in that area needed to be able to self certify. The course itself is open to Open Water and above, maximum depth of 18m for all training dives and definately NOT diving to limits of the RDP or your computer. It was basically a course written as a stepping stone between recreational and technical diving, as I wanted to dive on a twinset many years ago but found no training available unless I went technical.....which I didn't want to do at the time.....just wanted to extend my dives (as I guzzle air!). If anyone IS interested in the course then I can email you the student outline in .pdf for you to look at and decide....pm me if interested.......wont be until tonight though, as I'm at work and it isn't. SPAM???? I love it in white bread! |

sorry but thats just scary, a twinset course available to recently qualified divers with a max of 18m. FFS! after advanced and rescue diver and at least a minimum of 40 odd dives or something.

| I don't know - they come over here, offering us courses that we can take or leave, as we choose. The nerve. Quote:

| Twinset Course Strange but the information that PADI have authorised for this course clearly states Advanced Open Water as a prerequisit to entry. Indeed I would echo Soggyfox that really most divers taking this course should be least rescue divers and have a certain level of experience before undertaking such a course. |

The aircraft limits are only there in case there is another flight by that particular aircraft. If subsequent flights do not appear likely, there are no limits. |

spamming or multiple posts on the same subject are not acceptable on here, my experience is that people who enter the world of YD in your fashion seldom make ''old bones'' The ball rests in your court at the moment, but the ball will be taken from you if you continue in this fashion. Safe diving, Steve
