twin 15s?

Hi,
instead of diving with my 15l steel and 3l pony I have now decided to twin my 2 15s together. And yes, before you wonder, I am tall and strong enough for that. My question is how and where to go about it re equipment such as twinning bands, manifolds, backplates, wings, basically all the stuff that's needed. In terms of further diving education I am thinking of TDI advanced nitrox and deco combined. Any comments, tips, ideas much appreciated-
Andreas

Hi Andreas,

I did the same. Went from single 15 to twinning them up and diving them as independents for a fair while. I didn't have them manifolded though.

I used Custom Divers bands, on a halcyon backplate and wing. I've now got a frog wing and backplate (from diving nik naks) which are lovely (and cheaper than the Halcyon equivalent!)

As far as the Adv Nitrox and Deco course you could do a lot lot lot worse than contacting Mark Powell (either through YD as he's a member) or you will find his other details at Dive-Tech: TDI, PSAI, BSAC and ITDA Nitrox, trimix and technical diver training courses with instructor Mark Powell

Hope that helps,

Simon
