| Hi rob, Thanks for the offer Chris |

| Hi, Took the twinset to Arthur at SDS. Turns out, the reason why the cylinders were so close at the top is that a manifold intended for a 7ltr twinset was used. No wonder I couldn't get the threaded rod out from bewteen them!! Lesson learnt - DO NOT BUY 2ND HAND KIT WITHOUT SEEING IT! There is always some devious shite willing to rip you off! Cost me a brand new twinset... Chris |

| Hi Chris...The 194mm MDE manifold is adjustable and can be set to take alot of different types of bands.. All is not lost....it may jus be a case of spending £50 and getting a set of bands to match the manifold. Did you get them off ebay..? send me the item number, I'd like to have a look.... I've had lots of experience with valves maniflods and bands, as alot of the guys on here have....post some links... Sorry to hear your hasselled...

A new manifold bar, or new bands sounds more feasible. I hope SDS didn't persuade you to get a new set just because of that. .

chris The safe plan is to let all the gas out before you start taking it apart :-) you seem to have got your problem solved but start messing 232bar things go wrong very fast. David
