I had similar problems and decided to go down the inversion route, hopefully my longer wing inflate will arrive this week and i can use the set in anger. My problem stemmed from a shoulder injury - dislocation - which has reduced motility up to the point where it dislocates. If you are concerned the close the isolator and dive them as independents, then in the water you can try to open the isolator. Its much easier in water, i spent ages in 2 meters of water trying different options.

Intro to Tech Day 23rd Sept Wraysbury There are a whole range of kit and technique issues that can stop you doing a shutdown. For a start it's a lot easier doing it while horizontal rather than vertical - this is why trying it on dry land is not always that usefull.

I agree with Mark, but if you put your set on and sit down on a chair with them wearing a t shirt you should be able to reach all the knobs. If not, then I suspect you either a) need to adjust the bands (the top one should be positioned just at the break of the cylinder) or b) need surgery . Dave

are you in the water when you try these skills? if your sat on a bench at home it will seam quite hard or impossible it get to those valves, the top of your top band should sit at the end of the curve just as it starts to straightn up, set them there and leave them, its important to choose the right drysuit and undersuit! get this wrong and your fighting like mad to reach back, i use a 0three ri 2/3 suit with the othree pbbase undergarment and im well set up now, keep your back arched "shoudlers back arse up" this will shorten the reach distance, keep head back for isolating the manifold i put my hand on the back of my head then push my head back and it puts my valve into my hand, for the primary and second posts i put forearm near my ear and use my head to guide my hand to the side cylinder valves, hope this helps a bit, you can do it! use the force luke

Digger will be along in a short while so I'll ask first. You mentioned an OMS wing - what BP / harness are you using.
