However, I'm not sure about your 2 courses from the price of 1. My experience is that IANTD Tech Nitrox is often only slightly cheaper, if at all, than a combined Advanced Nitrox and Deco Procedures course.

So you could say that it's 1 course for the price of 2

But of course I wouldn't recommend choosing a tech course based on price alone.
Mark,

Just offering another option - I have no loyalties to any route.

The 2 for 1 was a "tongue in cheek", although when I took the IANTD Tech Nx it cost me £300 against TDI Adv Nx £250 + Deco £250. Things may have changed on the TDI costings?.

You are right - Instructor is important NOT cost!...but I got the right Instructor aswell.

You have a choice of routes, looking at the BSAC TDI routes the options are;.

BSAC Route
BSAC ERD and then BSAC Sorts Mixed Gas
ERD - 3 days - £340
SMG - 3 days - £350
ERD+SMG - 5 days - £600

TDI
TDI Deco Procedures and TDI Trimx
Deco Procedures - 2 days - £220
Trimix - 4 days - £450
Deco+Trimix - 5 days - £600

Either route will give you up to 100% O2 for deco gas and use of Normixic Trimix mixes to a maximum of 60m.

It's even possible to get dual cert, i.e. get both TDI and BSAC certs at the end.

The above costs are for the course only. You will also have top pay your own expenses, i.e. diving and gasses.

I can run a combined course in mid November (UK), late November (Dahab), mid Dec (UK), or anywhere you want from Jan onwards.
