Personally I prefer the Isolator Manifold option to Indies but there are people who swear by indies as well.....I just prefer the simplicity of not having to faff about swapping regs.

That's what I would have except:

ATX 50 backup reg as it's smaller and nestles under my chin(s) beautifully.

I reckon this setup would cost you about £2500.00, but you said money was no object.
Out of interest Garf, why Highland Mills bands? I've had these and can honestly say they're nowhere near as good as the Agir bands.

Can you use those Ti Mk25s with rich O2 mixes? If not they'd be no good on your deco bottles (if you needed to swap stuff around)

I have to admit when I compared my bands with the HM bands there didn't appear to be much difference......the HM bands were shinier so I went for AGIR because they were cheaper

nope, they'd be no good on deco bottles, but sublime on a twinset. I had a set of highland mills bands and the ones I had were about the same quality as the AGIR ones I had on another set - but they were shiner. If the quality is inconsistent as you suggest, then I'd go for V4tec or AGIR bands as a second choice...

I have just finished replacing almost all of my kit. I tried to choose the best kit that I could find, regardless of the price. Based on my experience to date, my answer to the original question would be as follows:

Halcyon SS backplate and harness
Halcyon Evolve 40lb wing
Heavy Eurocylinders (14.2 kg)
Agir/MEBA bands
Halcyon Valves and Manifold
Scubapro MK25 first stages (x2)
Scubapro S600 primary second stage
Scubapro M395 secondary second stage

Nice.

The one set of HM bands I had weren't as wide as the Agir bands, neither was the steel as thick. But worse, they didn't hold the cylinders as parallel.

I'm not sure they're still making them now, are they?

Agir Brokk Manifold
HM bands
12l Faber 300's
Halcyon 40 wing and backplate
MK25 scubapro first stages
R395's second stages

but i would like to get a pair of S600's second stages as the R395's are a little difficult at 60+
