Apex do it for me, a very good reg

ATX50 and ATX40 with DS4's. A DS2 would do for my left post if i only used 1 spg, i use 2 as when i strain my back, which is quite often, i close the manifold and dive the twinset as indies.

DST is good but i moved that to my stage as i like the swivel head on that.

I have Scubapro's on my single tank rig and like them as well, they are the cheaper end of the range, but i prefer the breath off of the Apex which are also the cheaper end of their range

Thanks for your collective wisdom - very helpful,

Chris.
Unless you're planning to use the regs with oxygen mixes > 50% then don't bother with the oxygen clean versions - it's money wasted! For mixes < 40%, you can use any reg that's suitable for air. Reg manufacturers will try to steer you towards their oxygen clean regs for nitrox use but it really isn't neccessary for standard recreational nitrox mixes...

Talking Thanks to Bardo

Thanks for the link to the deep blue side and the MK25's + G250HP's.

Ordered two sets, turned up Wed, had a day off and dived yesterday they are great.

Was a close call between DS4's and Mk25's though. I think I would have been very happy with both, but that low price and the hose routing on the mk25's won me over.

thanks, green incoming.

Good luck with the Mk25/G250Hp setup- glad you got a bargin, the Mk25 route really well on twins and the G250 is an excellent reg.

Regards

Ian

Hehe. Always happy to help, FE!

The mk25 is a superb 1st stage and at this price, anyone looking to buy two sets of regs for a twinset would be well advised to do what you've done and snap up Deep Blue's offer!

BTW - You should give a Diablo a green too as he originally found the offer...
