| We use the one sold by SAP. We've got 2. I'd say the O2 cyls are waaaaaay to small and the kits are only for an "inital use" situation. That's why we also carry 2 additional cyls of O2. Doing one from scratch- get an O2 clean cyl, fill it with neat O2 and stick an old O2 clean reg on it with one of those rescuEAN thingys on it.

| Can you connect a face mask thingy to a reg though?

| That's what the rescuEAN thingy does. The SAP one comes with a pin-index cyl, an O2 medical demand reg with another port for the contant flow mask. All stick in what looks suspiciously like some brown soil pipe with a blank and and a screw cap just like you get on the top of a toilet pipe stack in a building. Also has a cuff dump valve on it to vent O2 if the cyl gets cracked by accident. Here's me driving t'boat and you can see the O2 kit beautifully mounted to the A frame. It sits so lovely there it makes you want to cry a bit. ![]()

| is that the 'Marinox' kit? they look good but are £600+ including an inadequate cylinder (for any length of time) can you just buy the hardware and supply your own cylinder? I can get hold of a 30L (half J) of O2 very reasonably EDIT: SAP, its £109 for the drainpipe

| The hardware is only an O2 pin index reg with demand valve and constant flow mask. Easily doable with a normal scuba reg and resuEAN thing. Plus when the O2 runs out you can simply stick a stage cylinder on, something you can't do with the Marinox unless you have a pin index to A clamp adapter.

| I'd go with Woz. We carry a kit that fits onto a 10/12L of oxygen. It has a DV and a constant feed available. If you you put divers onto a 40m wreck and just as the blobs for deco are hitting the surface so does one of your divers you are staying there. Frankly after seeing how long it takes to helio evac somebody I'd be hesitant to even do that until I have all my divers back. I've used my 3L RB tank on the buddy of a guy that did a rapid and missed nearly half an hour of stops and it's frightening to see how quickly a little one goes down. He hadn't missed anything like as much but he wasn't calm and he wasn't breathing gently. |

| I've got a Nuepac and it's the muts nuts! It's got constant flow, demand and Possitive pressure so you don't have to do rescue breathing. in the case I use for it is a 3ltr cylinder, and adaptor to din and bullnose and you can run all three at the same time so could run 3 patients. I've also got enough to make 3 more kits give me a call and we might be able to sort somthing out! Fin
