I have a been quoted £517 for a mix check from my LDS- have to run a few more courses but this is what I will be going for- if a group buy can get the price down further then all in favour.

Analox was £490 with a din restrictor but prefer the Mix check

Ian

I've been using an Analox ATA I picked up on eBay which was made for Dive Rite so in a red box! It came with a flow restrictor for a standard LPI.
No problems with it in the past 12 months..but when I was completing a Trimix Instructor course in Sharm they had been having problems with an ATA after sending it back to analox it was returned and similar problems developed so I guess it could be luck of the draw with an individual unit - although the ATA comes in what looks like a nic hard diver proof box I dont think it likes being thrown around a boat a lot! I think this was the problem with the one in Sharm as it was always dodgy connection problems inside the unit. I keep mine in my compressor/blending room and there it stays I have divers analyse there before we take the mix diving. They can then recheck the O2 on the boat before a dive if they like with a portable E0II which tend to be Ok on boats - providing it doesn't get dropped in the drink!

Bargain indeed and since I mainly need it for blending that looks like a v good choice!

Does anyone know the power rating of the power supply ... I wonder if these portable power packs you can buy would power it sufficiently well for the occasional "in the field" use.

Thanks
Mal

My mates batteries last a while long enough for a week long mix trip where everyone wants to double check their mix.

Let me know if you want a price for an Analox He analyser
