Helium Analyser

I need to buy a helium analyser, either the analox or pro HE

Trimix analyser for sport diving

Rebreather World Store

The pro HE is a little cheap but the analox seems more widely used. What is the general view on either or these- re price/reliability/durability

Thanks

Ian

I can only speak for the analox, it is a really nice piece of kit. I think current price is about £470.

Personally I went the Analox route after speaking to Barry at the RBW store (although I bought mine from Mr Nackers ) & I have been very pleased with it .Only thing to note is that Analox DO NOT supply the flow restricter any more .

Well two are no bloody good. So if you want I can relieve you of the burden.

What about one of these? (I don't have one for sale, before you ask)

Vandagraph Home of the VN202

Damned fine peice of kit, if you ask me! Plus you get everything you need to get started including *two* flow restrictors - one for a direct DIN connector and another for an inline low pressure inflator hose connector.

[EDIT] - Didn't realise that the Pro HE you mentioned is effectively just a stripped down Teledyne, from what I can see. In that case - and providing you already have an oxygen analyzer - it might be a better option as the addition of an oxygen cell/dual displays to the Teledyne adds quite a bit of money to the unit!
