There are loads of Uni branches out there and many are doing just the sort
of diving you are looking for.

If you are happy to put some time in at Vobster in February with us, then
you'd be more then welcome on one of our hardboats off the South Coast
in spring/summer.

Drop us a line if interested.

To be honest as your already well along the BSAC training system why not look at the BSAC ERD Course after you have completed the Combined Nitrox Course.

The BSAC ERD gives you exactly the same qualification as TDI ADV Nitrox/Deco Procedures. In fact if you want to be picky it actually gives you a little more as the BSAC course gives you a 55m qualification whereas the TDI only gives you 45m.

Check out the course here:
Extended Range Diving - BSAC

After this you could then look at the BSAC Sports Mixed Gas Diver Course etc

Just to let you know though I did the TDI combined courses and they are excellent courses as long as you have the right instructor as the manuals are crap.

Balance is important.

Last weekend I was out with some bunch of disreputables at Stoney Cove and, being disreputables, there seemed to be a lot of BSAC divers there.

Last night I was down the pool with the club working a couple of our latest crop of ODs into a nice hover. (I love the lessons that go from "I can't do that" to "Hey I'm doing it!")

I don't see a conflict between club and non-club diving except where the non-club diving is a bit extreme and it is easier to run the risk assessment and plan based another agencies policies rather than conflict with BSAC's SDPs. You dive for fun and I always worry about people who are shifting over to doing things that aren't fun but duty because it won't last. If diving, the way you are doing it, stops being fun rethink your diving. The DO/ADO job is a bit heavy and should be handed round that available candidates to prevent burning one out. It also is a steep learning curve but the only way to learn it is on the job so the next candidate is never going to be 'ready'.
