Oh dear I tell them not to apply labels and that I will do it, shops do like to plaster other peoples property with sponsorship tags. One set is due to cleaning and I will make it clear again where I want them otherwise I will just strip them off and change them. But I think they know me by now
I'm the same - I always insist that cylinders come back from servicing *without* any stickers attatched - where I place them is my choice. As Fiona says, you're better off sticking all the stickers on the inside to keep the visible area as clear as possible. Not only does it look nicer but it'll also protect the stickers from damage. As stickers go, I prefer to use those lovely dinky little BSAC cylinder stickers that they sell on the BSAC stand at Dive Shows for about 25p per sticker...

Assorted Accessories - BSAC

Here's my twinset with stickers in all the right places... think of it as 'Reader Wives' without the saggy bits...

They've changed them slightly now - they're still much smaller than the ones you usually get that wrap completely round a 15L, but not as small as they used to be

Funnily enough, no - they're about three years old now. I just look after my kit and maintain it maticulously. To be fair, the front of those twins doesn't look half as good as the back which, naturally, is protected from damage by the podgy thing strapped into the harness...

I think I know the shop you are on about. Someone in my club went for a normal fill on a 15l 232bar cylinder A clamp fitting...he ended up with a 300bar fill. Someone will be killed when a cylinder explodes in that shop

who had a set of twin10s once and thought "How could anyone need more gas than this?" Mwahhahahahahahahahah
Nope the beaver 300bar 10's are the same height as standard 12's which means they are a lot taller than the dumpy 12's

I still have mine in the garage just in case the rebreather goes tits up at short notice

They are probably a fairly rare breed then because most 10l are about 4" shorter (590mm) than the 12l (690mm).

Or the cost of a Waterproof A4 label for 12 if you print them yourself:
