Twinning Bands

Off to Norway for a week in June, we are having to fly due to Ferry Crossing times,so can't take the twin set.
But Bob has 12ltr cylinder's we can use to twin up on. So we are going to take our wings & backplate.
Can you buy twinning bands like the buddy bands & blocks to fit a back plate or will I have to take my stab Jacket.

Cheers

I believe John at Kent Tooling does some rather nifty mounts for twinning up that leave you with the usual 8mm bolts so you can use your regular BP and wing combo.

Give him a buzz.

buddy bands

I think that SDS do stainless brackets that will enable you to use Buddy bands with your back plate even if your back plate doesn't have slots for the straps

You can get adapters to allow you to convert your backplate and wing setup to independant twins and/or single cylinder.

This screws on through the normal bolt holes on your back plate and allows two cylinders of any size (including 18's) to be used. You can also use it to mount a single to your backplate.

Narked at 60 - Technical Dive Products – Kit that keeps up!

I have a spare one if your intrested, as I am now on a YBOD. PM if your intrested.
