At a guess hes had trouble with it jaming open and causeing the bag to deflate. This is a common problem with lift bags and OPVs which is why serious spidgers tell me I shouldent use them. He may have turned tha valve arround to stop this hapening. ATB Mark

| As mentioned earlier in this thread, if it is an open bottom bag then the 'relief' valve really isn't a 'relief' at all but a 'dump' valve and sealing against the inside is correct. Such a bag cannot be over-inflated as excess flatulence comes out of its bottom. So the question is... is it a 100% sealed or partially open bag? A photo would help... | as the man above is telling you it does not need a op valve as it has a open bottom and will vent on its way up it is a good bag with the dump string on the inside it is so you can bring it up controlled without having to be on top of the bag it allso gives you the option to atach a idiot line to the dump this can be fixed to the sea bed so you can move things about with no danger of your load friging off on you , oh and lift bags make shit smbs etc as when deployed with no load they genarate to mutch lift then spill topside then you cant drag the things about they are shit and should only be used for lifting trust me i no , ian hse 1 |
