Any evidence to back this up? Eg number of divers diving Hogarthian in the UK, incidents involving those divers, number of divers diving non-Hog in the UK, incidents involving those divers? Or is it something you made up? Cheers, Janos

You have access to the same media reports and Incident reports I do. Case in point in the news today of a guy who apparently signalled out of gas to his buddy but went to the surface anyway, unable to stay there and was found with his pony (I am assuming) full of gas but turned off. This is not a system that's taught to my knowledge. Mal |

| Re: The BSAC courses, With the introduction of the trimix courses both BSAC extended range and Advanced Nitrox are under review. I think the old Advanced Nitrox was a great course in it's time. Remember that BSAC introduces small amounts of deco much earlier than other agencies. However it was never meant to be a 'techie' course and instructors were actively encouraged NOT to teach in twinsets. I'm sure it will all change in the next few months. Janos PS - There's an interesting picture on slide 5 of the mixed gas "equipment" powerpoint

Also quoting a single case is useful to learn what not to do. You need to have many more cases to have convincing evidence. Janos
