Thumbs up

Well done Helen.

Did you see that young lad last week on Britains Got Talent- the one with the detachable arm?

When you can do that you'll be well sorted! Thats the standard I'll be aiming for but until I get there I'll be using a slob knob which came with my set.

Robin

I second that - even with 7mm gloves I notice very little extra difficulty. It was swapping from a neo to a TLS that really made the difference.

I am a leftie too, and I also find the left post is slightly harder than the right.

Well done - I just managed mine on the weekend at the NDAC. I found that a less bulky undersuit did the trick. Still slow though ...

Thank you all for your kind words of encouragement. I'm really touched

It was refreshing to see what I haven't been doing right in my recent attempts. Hopefully when I get in at Capers I'll be able to do them with the added kerfuffle of drysuit, undersuit, torch etc.

I was particularly excited when Bob my instructor loosened my harness, had a quick look and said "you'll get at least another twelve inches down there"

Nice one. So was muscle memory a factor? i.e did you try repeatedly and then something just clicked or was there certain excercises that contributed to the succesfull attempt?
Thanks
Paul
