But if I was diving nitrox I wouldn't need the bottle?

I could get a spare twinset as a gas bank for filling my suit bottle though?

I've got an air fill card for my LDS that'll still last me a while... I'm happy to use that up filling the suit bottle as I very very very rarely get air fills these days... Only for air top ups really...

Hey Si

I get my 'suit inflation bottle' ..... ok, 1.5l pony
filled at the lake for £2.50 or at the other one near my office for £3

outrageous, I say, cos it's only filling a top up because everytime I go diving I just breathe off it a few breaths to test all is ok, and I'm never actually using it

When I bought it I told the guy I was using it as a pony and they delivered it with a 'breathe air' sticker on it
I had it tested last month and they stuck on a new 'breathe air' sticker on it

Big hug

I've not done any DIR training though? Surely that would be Rule 6? I'm not qualified to do that though

Most places I know top off my suit inflate bottle for free as I'm getting either back gas or stage fills at the same time.

I've also got a decanting whip so that I can top off the suit inflate bottle from one of my air or nitrox cylinders if needed.
