Independence day

In response to various questions and requests....

On Friday the 4th July I will be offering a workshop for non DIR divers. For those of you who have been attracted to the skill set of DIR/technical diving but don't have the kit or meet the requirements in any other way.

The one day workshop is not a 'short' fundamentals course. I can't pack four days of instruction into one day and won't try. However, I will seek to help those attending develop skills, give feedback, advice on kit set up.

I'll look in detail at:

Trim
Buoyancy
Frog kick
Back kick
SMB deployment
Team awareness and communication

I'm thinking of Stoney Cove but happy to relocate dependant on geography of those taking part. The cost of the day is £100. Start time 9.00am and it will probably end around 5 with debriefs.

So - on Independance Day, who's up for it?

Spaces are very limited.

1. Reserved
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.

Very interested, would prefer to stick with bod; but could probably scrape together a set of working Single tank OC if you hold a gun to my head!
(or i could just use one of the stages)

Clare - would you a have a rough idea of how many dives / time in the water a potential attendee might expect?

I'd imagine about two hours in water time or thereabouts - but to be honest training happens as much out of the water as in. It will be a full day - they always are.

I wasn't planning on doing any but 'any excuse'
